Service Description

For this summer special we welcome jam expert Vivien Lloyd to the Global Larder. Viv is a leading authority on the preservation of fruit and vegetables with experience in teaching, winning awards and judging preserves. Vivien has written comprehensive resources for home cooks, including her book “First Preserves”. She has been teaching face to face and online for 15 years, with many of her students having gone on to win awards at international competitions. You will spend a morning making Raspberry Jams the traditional way. Working in pairs, we’ll make Raspberry & Chocolate Jam and Raspberry & Apple Jam. Find out how to source the best ingredients and equipment, discover the four stages of making jam and take home jars of jam ready for filling pastries, biscuits, cakes, macarons and spreading on your toast for breakfast. You will leave with 7 jars of your delicious creations, ready to sweeten your pantry or give as a gift.
