ABOUT ME
I’m Pete, an experienced cookery tutor who has spent the past fifteen years working for the likes of Waitrose, The Women's Institute, and Gordon Ramsay, teaching adults and children from 4 to 84 to become better cooks.
During that time I’ve built a solid reputation and a loyal following of returning students from around the country who kept asking me when I was going to set up my own cookery school. So that's exactly what I've done!
"Peter was extremely helpful and supportive. He taught me how to properly season the food and understand what it was meant to turn out like."
Susan Newbury, Leigh Woods
Peter's courses are always well balanced, informative and fun. Peter is an excellent tutor and very patient. As an avid fan of cooking, I learn a lot. I first attended a course in 2014 and we have attended 6 more!
Pam Harrison, Glamorgan
"The teaching is in a calm and professional environment with a multiplicity of interesting information, superb recipes that work and which I have repeated since the two courses, and plan to go on further courses."
Julia Ho, Cheshire
"Highly organised, confident, huge depth of knowledge, patient and wow, this guy can teach! He makes you feel that you are the most important person in the room. He is interested in you and what you want to achieve.
Christopher Hurrell, Welshpool
"Our tutor on this course, Peter Lien, has received positive recognition from no less an icon than Mary Berry so from a teaching perspective we were in very good hands from start to finish!"
Gareth Davison, London
"You cannot fail to leave a Peter Lien course without feeling totally inspired and confident. He is the most calm and encouraging cookery tutor and his recipes are simply to die for!"
Heather Jobling, Alderley Edge
THE KITCHEN
Having taught in many different kitchens around the country, I am proud to say that our teaching facilities in Bristol are second to none.
With eight dedicated work stations each with its own hob and oven, we can cater for up to 16 students, although we choose to keep our maximum class size at 12.
